As some of you know, despite not really actively designing for a couple of years now as I've been working on building & launching a PropTech software company, I've agreed to help an investor of mine. He has a nursing home that needs design help...and I realized this is an INCREDIBLE opportunity for my Degree-less Design community!

What it is:

It's very last minute, & it took me a hot minute to figure out the best ways to structure this for you in a way where I wont totally burn out, and where I can maximize the learning experience for you. So far, I set up one live option with two payment options. The live option means we would be meeting on Zoom for about 10* weeks, once or twice a week. In those live sessions you'll be getting real time walk throughs of the steps of the project. From the business, technical & design perspectives. That means discussing the consult, proposal, contract, timeline, design steps & stages, project management, purchasing, site visits, install etc. Literally everything I'll be doing, you'll be along the ride for. You'll also have mirrored work each week. What does that mean? That means I'll treat you somewhat like an intern & give you tasks. I'm up to direction boards? We're all doing direction boards. I'm sourcing material & furniture? We're all sourcing. We'll have opportunities for Q&A, & there's even a chance some of your work or decisions make into the final design! No matter what, this is a huge collective of education, real experience, & an opportunity to build your portfolio. Even more...in order for you to participate in the live version, you need the templates & tools I use...& that will be part of your package. How:

You'll have the option to pay upfront for a discounted rate, or to pay the upfront cost & then the weekly payments as we go along. (The schedule is not exact as it may fluctuate with the design project schedule, & may end up having extended weeks with sessions that would be optional.)

All of this is very exciting but...it's been bothering me that it's such a huge opportunity, that many people simply cant afford. Certainly not so last minute. It will not contain all of the tools, perhaps some. But will walk you through using them as part of the project & provide 50% off codes for them if you'd like them.
