Just Exploring

You’re curious - maybe even a little obsessed - but not sure where it’s all heading yet. Maybe design has always tugged at you… or maybe you’re just now realizing it could become something more.

Right now, your job isn’t to rush - it’s to follow your gut, explore what excites you, and start building clarity step by step.

Step One

Train Your Eye

Your primary focus is going to be in training your eye to see & think like an interior designer.
Be sure you are following the Degree-less Design accounts where I do at least 4 of Train Your Eye Exercises a week!

Step Two

Understanding the Basics

Start with one room you use every day. Sketch how people move through it, measure the furniture, and note one thing that works and one thing that gets in the way. Try one small change on paper first. This is how you begin to see a room through a designer's eyes.

If you want a guided start, the Interior Design Starter Mini Course covers space planning, scale, color, materials & design decisions. The full Degree-less Design Course goes further into technical and business work.
