Built from the Ground Up

I come from a colorful, chaotic, and beautifully imperfect background.
I was the socially awkward kid - constantly moving, trying to find my footing in a world that never stayed still. I grew up in a broken home. My father left the country and played little part in our lives. It was just my mom, me, my two sisters, and a whole lot of trying to figure things out.
I didn’t finish high school & college wasn’t an option. At a ridiculously young age, I got married - mostly because I craved stability, a sense of belonging, and a home I could finally call my own. I thought maybe I could prove everyone wrong - the teachers, the voices, the religious expectations - and still “make it.”
By 20, I was a mother.
By 23, I was a single mother.
I had no concept of money, a very small support system, and honestly - no idea what came next. Over the years I found work out of necessity, & slowly discovered a love for problem solving...specifically within interiors. Slowly I found that I had a belief that I could build something more.
A Journey of Growth
Self-Discovery
I hopped around from job to job, slowly learning that I did in fact have intelligence & skills. Until about 9 years ago, I started my own interior design firm.
Finding Success
Slowly crawled out of debt, into a secure & comfortable place I could be proud of, and discovered I had ADHD & how that moulded my journey.
Transformed Perspective
But most importantly, my journey COMPLETELY altered my perception of self. I realized my potential wasn't defined by my education or past.
Now, I'm on a new journey of building more ideas & businesses, helping others like me realize their potential, either as entrepreneurs, interior designers or any possible future they want & working to make the world ever so slightly better than how I found it.
"Helping others see that possibilities are endless, no matter what you thought before, is an honor & so close to my heart."
I don't even want to think about what my life would be had I not had access to the people & tools & did to help reframe my perspective. I share my journey & my story on social media for that reason. We all have gifts to give & share & our stories impact the lives of others. It's the gift that keeps on giving. I want your journey, to be MUCH easier than mine was.

A New Chapter
What's Next?
I'm here to make interior design education accessible, practical, and empowering - no degree required.
I teach real-world skills, not just theory - so you can start designing with confidence and build a business that fits your life. More than that, I'm building a supportive, no-ego community where aspiring designers lift each other up, not compete over credentials. It’s not about where you studied.
"It’s about what you create - and who you become while doing it."
